Schedule watch has officially begun for UConn men’s hockey. On Friday, UMass became the first Hockey East team to release its full 2024-25 slate, which revealed the Huskies’ first league dates.

The two sides will play a home-and-home series in October — at the Mullins Center on Friday, Oct. 25 and in Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 25 — followed by a one-off home game for UConn on Friday, Feb. 7.

Start times, as well as designations for the Huskies’ two home contests, were not announced.

The Minutemen are one of four Hockey East teams that UConn will face three times this season along with Maine (two away, one home), UMass Lowell (two away, one home) and Vermont (two home, one away).

These aren’t the first dates out on the Huskies’ calendar, though. They’ll travel to Milwaukee for the 2024 Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off on Dec. 28-29 then will play in CT Ice on Jan. 24-25.
