UConn women’s hockey released its 34-game 2025-26 schedule on Monday, which features marquee matchups in both non-conference play and Hockey East action.
The Huskies have one tune-up with an exhibition at Quinnipiac on Sept. 20 before opening the regular season at Toscano Family Ice Forum against St. Cloud State on Sept. 26-27. They exclusively play non-conference matchups in the month of October with a trip to powerhouse Clarkson on Oct. 3-4, a weekend at home vs. Princeton on Oct. 17-18 and a road series at Mercyhurst on Oct. 24-25.
The conference slate begins on Nov. 1-2 with a home-and-home against Holy Cross followed by meetings with Boston College (Nov. 7-8) and Vermont (Nov. 21-22). UConn will host the Nutmeg Classic on Nov. 28-29, where it’ll meet Quinnipiac in the opening round. The Huskies wrap up the first half with Boston University on Dec. 5-6.
After the winter break, UConn will start with Providence on Jan. 2-3. The Huskies exclusively play two-game weekend series against the same opponent in conference play until February, when they’ll take on Providence, BC, New Hampshire, Northeastern and Merrimack for a third time. The final game before the postseason is set for Feb. 21 against the Warriors at home.
UConn will look to claim its third straight Hockey East regular season crown while also trying to return to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years after missing out last season.
