UConn steals two points in record-setting tie at Maine
The Huskies faced an onslaught from the Black Bears but still came out with the majority of the points.

UConn set a few program records on Saturday night, and not all of them were good. The Huskies were outshot 53-23 — most they’ve allowed in a single game since they joined Hockey East in 2014 — while Tyler Muszelik stepped up with 50 saves — most by a UConn goaltender in the same era.
Despite that, the Huskies walked out with two points after stealing a 3-3 tie and shootout win at Maine on Saturday night. On the weekend, they came away with a series victory and five of six possible points.
“Anytime you come up here and you can take five or six points, you'll take it,” head coach Mike Cavanaugh said postgame. “I'm not sure we deserved those two points tonight.”
