UConn simply refused to die on Sunday.
After the Huskies went down 2-0 while fans were still settling into their seats, they answered by taking a 3-2 lead into the first intermission. When they found themselves on the penalty kill in a tied game late in the third, they scored a go-ahead shorty. When they gave up a game-tying goal with 0.3 seconds left in regulation and then had to face a 3:41-long power play in overtime, they killed it off.
In the end, UConn came away with a 6-5 overtime victory over the Vermont Catamounts in a game with no shortage of drama.
