UConn women’s hockey released its 2023-24 schedule on Thursday, which features 15 home games and a few high-profile non-conference matchups.

Following an exhibition at Quinnipiac on Saturday, Sept. 3, the Huskies open the year on Sept. 29-30 at Penn State, which reached the NCAA Tournament and finished No. 10 in the USCHO Poll. UConn will play its first game at Toscano Family Ice Forum on Saturday, Oct. 14, kicking off a stretch of four consecutive home games.

On Nov. 6 and Jan. 5, the Huskies will travel to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota. The Gophers made the Frozen Four last season but fell to Wisconsin in overtime of the national semifinal. They’ve won six national championship — second most among all Division I women’s programs.

UConn will then compete in the Nutmeg Cup on Nov. 24-25 at Yale before closing the first half at home vs. Boston College on Dec. 2. The second trip to Minnesota will kick off the team’s second half.

The regular season will end with senior day at Toscano Family Ice Forum, when UConn will welcome BU on Saturday, Feb. 24.
