UConn men’s hockey’s offense reverted back to last year for one night, failing to score in an upset loss to Vermont. The Huskies had 50 attempts and 30 shots on goal but none of them found the back of the net.
“It was disappointing to come away with only one point tonight,” head coach Mike Cavanaugh said postgame. “I thought there were times in the game where we were playing very, very well and we just couldn't get it past the goaltender. I thought he played outstanding.”
