UConn men’s hockey’s 2023-24 season will begin with a two-game series on the road against Colgate on Oct. 6-7, according to the Raiders’ newly-released schedule. Those are now the 22nd and 23rd dates that are out on the Huskies’ slate so far.

With Colgate set, UConn now has every weekend in October accounted for. After traveling up to Colgate, the Huskies will take on Holy Cross in a home-and-home followed by another trip to Upstate New York for a two-game series with Union. UConn closes the month by opening Hockey East play against UMass Lowell in a home-and-home.

As of now, the Huskies will play six of their first eight games on the road.

Until UConn releases its schedule, 11 games remain unaccounted for: Three against Vermont, two each against Merrimack, Northeastern and Providence, and one apiece (both home) versus Dartmouth and Harvard.

Colgate is located in Hamilton, New York, roughly a four-hour drive from Hartford. The Raiders, who play at Class of 1965 arena, will be under first-year head coach Mike Harder after a 19-16-5 campaign that saw them finish 26th in Pairwise last season.

While the schedule is not yet official until the Huskies unveil it themselves, these are the games that their opponents have released so far:
