Six more dates on UConn men’s hockey’s 2023-24 schedule are set — courtesy of the two UMass schools. UMass and UMass Lowell both released their slates for the upcoming seasons, which include three matchups each with the Huskies.

UConn will travel to Lowell on Oct. 27 before hosting the River Hawks on Oct. 28 at the XL Center in Hartford and Dec. 1 at Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs. The Huskies will also travel up to Amherst for contests with the Minutemen on Jan. 5 and Feb. 10, with the home game coming on Feb. 9. Unlike UMass Lowell’s schedule, UMass’s did not specify the venue in Connecticut.

The dates for CT Ice have been out since February. The XL Center will host the tournament on Jan. 26 and 27 — the last weekend of the month, just like the previous three iterations of the tournament. UConn’s first game will be against Sacred Heart.

The Huskies are expected to play 10-12 games in Storrs and 4-6 at the XL Center now that Toscano is finished. The school opened the new, on-campus rink this past January and hosted UConn men’s hockey’s final six games there — including the playoff matchup against UMass Lowell.
