UConn's offense stalls in shutout at UMass Lowell

The Huskies had the edge in shots on goal but also missed the net on nearly half their attempts.

UConn men’s hockey’s offense spent most of Saturday night stuck in neutral which resulted in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the No. 15 UMass Lowell River Hawks. The Huskies had a 32-27 edge in shots on goal, though they lacked dangerous, grade-A chances.

It didn’t help that nearly half their attempts (31 of 63) missed the frame entirely.
