Schedule update: UConn adds game against Providence

The Huskies will play an extra game on the Monday after Christmas.

UConn men’s hockey will face the Providence Friars on Monday, Dec. 28, Hockey East announced on Tuesday. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Freitas Ice Forum.

After the Huskies’ matchup with UMass this Wednesday, UConn didn’t have another game scheduled until Jan. 1 at UNH — a week and a half later. Now, the Huskies won’t have to wait as long.
