Schedule change: UConn's series with Maine postponed

For the second week in a row, the Huskies' won't face their originally scheduled opponent.

UConn men’s hockey’s upcoming series against the Maine Black Bears will be postponed after Maine suspended all winter athletics through Dec. 8. The decision comes after “positive test results on campus, including among individuals involved with the varsity athletic programs,” according to a release from the school.

The Huskies were scheduled to play two games against the Black Bears at Freitas Ice Forum this weekend. Now, for the second-straight week UConn is looking for a new opponent just days before the puck is supposed to drop.
