Scouting the Nittany Lions

UConn opens the new campaign with Penn State, the same team that ended its season back in 2024-25. The Nittany Lions are coming off back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament and are eyeing a program-best third straight appearance.

They have some work to do to get there, though. Penn State lost five of its top six point scorers, headlined by No. 1 overall pick Gavin McKenna (15-26—51), and 13 players total. The Nittany Lions brought in 12 newcomers, including three transfers.
