Lines: UConn vs. Maine (Friday)

The Huskies and Black Bears square off at 4pm.

UConn men’s hockey’s lines for this afternoon’s matchup with Maine:

Analysis:

  • Gavin Puskar is a surprise addition to the lineup, getting the nod over Cassidy Bowes. It’s unclear if Bowes is injured or just a healthy scratch, though Puskar (6-foot-2, 180 pounds) is a better fill-in for Kale Howarth, who is suspended for this game. This will be Puskar’s third career appearance.

  • Eric Linell once again fills in for Vladislav Firstov. Maybe he’ll finally record his first collegiate points tonight.

  • Roman Kinal remains out with an MCL injury, though Mike Cavanaugh said it’s possible he could return this weekend.

Maine’s lines:

Analysis:

  • Graphic design is apparently Maine’s passion.

  • The Black Bears only dress two goaltenders.
