UConn’s lines today against Maine:

Analysis:

  • Kale Howarth is back after serving a one-game suspension.

  • Nick Capone is a surprise inactive due to a lower body injury. Cassidy Bowes takes his place.

  • Marc Gatcomb moves up to the first line, Carter Turnbull drops to the third line. Brian Rigali bumps up to the third line while Bowes takes his spot as the fourth line center.

  • Roman Kinal returns from an MCL injury, which pushes Ryan Wheeler out of the lineup.

Maine lines:

Analysis:

  • It’ll be interesting to see who starts in net for Maine after Victor Ostman’s injury yesterday.

  • No. 31 John Mulera is a former UConn commit, though some members of the staff didn’t rate him very highly. He was viewed as a project player and de-committed after the Huskies added better commitments.
