Lines: UConn vs. Colgate
The Huskies host a potentially difficult non-conference opponent at the XL Center on Saturday.
UConn men’s hockey will take on a Colgate Raiders team that can’t seem to decide if it’s good or bad. The visitors enter the game 8-7-0 coming off a combined 9-0 weekend against Yale and Brown but also have a lost five straight games this season. Puck drop is set for 4:05 p.m. at the XL Center.
UConn lines
Analysis:
As expected, Vladislav Firstov returns while Jonny Evans sits due to an upper body injury. Firstov slots into the fourth line, which bumps Cassidy Bowes to the stands.
Chase Bradley and Nick Capone switch places with Marc Gatcomb and Carter Turnbull. The third line of Gatcomb, Hudson Schandor and Turnbull could be fun to watch.
There are no changes with the defensive pairings.
