Jonny Evans named Hockey East First Team All-Star; Jachym Kondelik, Tomas Vomacka named to third team

UConn men’s hockey’s Jonny Evans has been named a Hockey East First Team All-Star while Jachym Kondelik and Tomas Vomacka were both named Hockey East Third Team All-Stars, the conference announced on Friday.

Evans led Hockey East with 14 goals and 28 points on the season and was named the conference’s leading scorer and winner of the Three Stars Award on Thursday. Kondelik led the conference with 18 assists while Vomacka played every minute in net for the Huskies and faced the most shots (682) of any goaltender in the conference.
