UConn men’s hockey is set to have a young roster in 2024-25. The team will feature just three players who have spent three or more seasons with the program: Fifth-years Hudson Schandor and John Spetz, and senior Jake Veilleux.

The roster also includes grad transfer Nick Carabin to go with six true juniors, five sophomores and eight freshmen. UConn will also add a few more forwards, though it remains to be seen whether they’ll be transfers or freshmen.

That makes the return of Schandor and Spetz all the more valuable.
