BREAKING: UConn men's hockey ranked for first time in program history

For the first time in program history, UConn men’s hockey is ranked in a national poll. The Huskies are the No. 20 team in the latest USCHO Poll, which is made up of 50 voters, “including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.”

UConn has received votes for much of the season but has failed to crack the rankings until now. The Huskies’ next opponent, UMass Lowell, dropped out of the top 20 after getting swept by UNH.
