On March 28, the NCAA Tournament will kick off with Regionals in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Fargo, North Dakota; Manchester, New Hampshire; and Toledo, Ohio. Two brackets will begin March 28, while the remaining pair start the following day. Two weeks from then, St. Louis will host the Frozen Four on April 10 and 12.

UConn swept Northeastern in dominant fashion over the weekend and moved up to 19-10-4 on the season. Saturday’s 7-1 victory was enough to give the Huskies a 100 percent chance to make the NCAA Tournament, according to the College Hockey News PairWise Probability Matrix. UConn will be in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Mike Cavanaugh’s team has a 5.5 percent chance of sneaking onto the top line, according to the tool, but are far more likely to enter the field as a 2-seed (79 percent chance). This leaves a 15.4 percent chance to be a 3-seed, but the Huskies cannot fall out of the top 11.
